Hey, I’m Hali!

I fell in love with photographing weddings by accident. A trip to Key West, FL, with my now-husband led me to second shoot our friends' wedding, and I never looked back. Being part of the group, witnessing all the behind-the-scenes action, and capturing people’s happiest moments really resonated with me.

I am incredibly laid-back, always ready to go with the flow and capture the authenticity of your day. As a quiet observer, having been to multiple weddings, I can anticipate the ebb and flow of events. I know when to step in to lend a helping hand, be your hype girl, or get the gang involved.

Photographs have always been significant in my family. I remember my mom having totes full of our childhood photos that we'd sift through and spread out on the living room floor. I hope to provide my families and wedding couples with that same feeling of nostalgia. The tangible magic of these memories stored away for safekeeping and brought out on anniversaries, holidays, and family gatherings for years to come.

As for who I am, I love to travel, with Alaska, Arizona, and Colorado ranking among my favorite destinations so far. Killer whales are my favorite animal, closely followed by my dog, Copper. I’m married with two stepdaughters; the eldest sometimes assists me or acts as a second shooter. I'm thrilled to continue bringing her along this year and show her the wonder of a wedding day.
